Services
One team for the lot — the 2am emergency, the boiler you’ve been putting off, the shower that’s never worked properly and the bathroom you’ve been planning since last year.

Everything below is work we do week in, week out across Sheffield. Not sure which column your problem falls in? Ring and describe it — that’s usually quicker.
We take emergency calls 24 hours a day across the whole of Sheffield.
In more detail
Water doesn’t wait for a working day. When a joint lets go or a pipe splits, two things matter: how fast somebody picks the phone up, and whether they know what to do when they arrive.
We take emergency calls round the clock across Sheffield — burst and frozen pipes, leaks under sinks and baths, overflowing cisterns, seized stopcocks and sudden losses of heating or hot water. First job is always stopping the damage. Then we look at the proper repair and price it with you before carrying on.
All gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We repair and service most makes, and install combi, system and heat-only boilers depending on what the property and the hot water demand actually need — not what happens to be in the van.
Sheffield has a lot of large older houses where a combi is genuinely the wrong choice. Three bathrooms running off one combi will disappoint everybody. We’ll tell you when a system boiler and a cylinder is the better answer, even though it’s the longer job.
A bathroom refit is the job where poor plumbing hides behind good tiling. We do the part that has to last: the first fix, the falls on the wastes, the valve positions, the tests before anything gets boarded over.
Freestanding baths, walk-in showers and wet rooms, concealed cisterns, vanity units, cloakrooms and en-suites. We’ll work alongside your tiler and electrician, or take the whole thing off your hands.
Sheffield is built on hills, and the higher up you live the more likely you are to notice it. A shower that trickles, a bath that takes twenty minutes, taps that fight each other when two are running.
It might be an old gravity-fed tank system, a partially closed valve nobody knew about, furred-up pipework, or genuinely low incoming mains. Each one has a different fix at a very different price, which is why it’s worth diagnosing properly rather than throwing a pump at it and hoping.
Some leaks announce themselves. The expensive ones don’t — a damp patch on a ceiling, a meter creeping up, a musty smell in a cupboard. We track it back to the source rather than cutting holes and hoping.
Once we find it we show you exactly what’s failed and why, so you can decide with the full picture.
Blocked toilets, sinks that won’t empty, showers standing in water, gurgling waste pipes. We clear the blockage then check what caused it — a bad fall on a waste run or a collapsed trap will keep blocking however many times it’s plunged.
New radiators, designer panels and vertical rads, swaps in the same spot or moves to a better one. If half the house is cold we’ll find out why: sludge, balancing, a failed valve or a pump that’s had its day.
Copper and plastic run neatly and clipped properly, because pipework is easier to live with when somebody has thought about it.
FAQs
Either works. Plenty of customers pick their own suite or tiles and we fit them; others would rather we sort the lot. Tell us which you prefer when you ring and we’ll price it that way.
Yes — installation and repair of unvented cylinders along with the expansion vessels and safety controls that go with them, as well as conventional stored hot water systems.
Often, yes, and it’s one of the biggest improvements you can make to an older Sheffield house. Whether it’s worth it depends on your incoming mains flow rate, which we measure before recommending anything.
Yes. Vertical and flat-panel designer radiators, swapping tired convectors and re-running pipework so the new rad sits where you want it rather than where the old one happened to be.
We work clean, sheet up and take the rubbish with us. It comes up in customer reviews more than anything else, which tells you it isn’t an accident.
Yes — teed off the mains with an isolation valve inside so you can drain it down before winter.
